Crispino Lobo is co-founder of 3 non-profits in India – the Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR), the Sampada Trust (ST) and the Sanjeevani Institute for Empowerment and Development (SIED). The WOTR Group, as they are known, today works across 6 states in India partnering close to a million people help themselves out of poverty in the hinterlands of India.
Having spent more than 20 years in the development sector at all levels from the grassroots to policy levels, nationally and internationally, Crispino is well known for his achievements in the fields of natural resource management, participatory watershed development, integrated water resources management and climate change adaptation.
Crispino has had an eclectic academic experience with 5 university degrees covering the fields of philosophy, theology, psychology, economics and public administration, the last being from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
He counts amongst his most satisfying achievementsthe organizing and management of a successful large-scale community-led watershed development program in India which led to the Government of India setting up a fund of nearly half a billion dollars to replicate this experience across the country; development of effective systems and approaches that promote participation, accountability and performance in watershed programs, various components of which have been widely adopted across the country; and designing of a capacity building pedagogy that has contributed to strengthening the capacities of hundreds of non-profits and over 320,000 development practitioners from all over the world.
WOTR is headed by its Executive Director, Dr. Marcella D’Souza. A physician by profession, she chose to give up a lucrative medical career in order to dedicate her life to serve deprived communities in rural India. Dr. Marcella D’Souza is an alumnus of Government Medical College, Nagpur and a Takemi Fellow of the Harvard School of Public Health. Of almost 3 decades of working in rural areas, six were spent on the mountains of Peru, South America; where she organized a large-scale community-led, indigenous knowledge-based health care system across large areas of the South Andes. As a programme coordinator for women’s promotion, Dr. Marcella was responsible for developing the pedagogy for empowering women through Self Help Group formation and federations at the village level, as well as mainstreaming women into the decision-making structures of the village.
Dr. Shashidhar is a professor at the famous architecture institution in Mumbai, Rachna Sansad. In the past, Dr. Shashidhar retired from Eureka Forbes Ltd as DGM and Eureka Forbes Institute of Environment as Program Director and came back to his love for teaching and today mentors the masters students at Rachna Sansad on the subject of water harvesting and waste water management.
In his 36 years experience, he worked across wide variety of subjects mainly : Biotechnology, Waste water Treatment (Lab and Plant Operations), Drinking water treatment and Purification Systems, Environmental Monitoring (Air, Water etc), Rainwater Harvesting, Wastewater treatment. He has conducted many awareness programs on water pollution and treatment, rainwater harvesting, water purification in rotary clubs, schools and colleges. He is trained in ISO 14001 Environment Management systems and is an Internal Auditor IS 17025 (lab systems). He had also attended a training program in Waste Treatment at AOTS, Yokohama, Japan.
Princess Asharaje was born and brought up in the Royal family of the Ranas in Nepal and married into the Royal family of Baroda to Prince Sangramsinh Gaekwad. Princess Asharaje is keenly interested in Women's Welfare and Sports and has been the President of Women's Cricket in Baroda. She is Director of several companies and is also the Chairperson of two companies in Nepal, one to do with Hydropower and the other with Tourism. She is also actively involved in Charities for supporting and improving Sports & Children's education, as well as Arts. Princess has attended many International Conferences such as Global Economic & Asia Pacific Business Forum and has been a Speaker in many other Conferences. She is the Founder, Chairperson & the Managing Trustee of the "Hope for Nepal Foundation", "Princess Asharaje Gaekwad Educational Trust" as well as The Gaekwad Art Foundation. For the past 10 - 12 years the Princess has been actively involved in working for the Non-Resident Nepalese living in India and is the Chairperson of several such organizations.
At the 3rd Global Officials of Dignity (G.O.D). Awards held on August 7, 2015 at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, she was conferred the award of "Asias' Royal Woman of the Year" for her various achievements.

In 2008, following his last appointment in the Navy as Addl. General Manager (Personnel & Administration), Capt. Jainardhan Sathyan is a multi talented producer, director and a transmedia specialist. He has produced more than twenty television shows, music videos, commercials and directed short films. His recent directorial film Harvey's Dream, has been winning several awards at the festivals around the world. In the past, he has worked with the WPP group, the world's largest advertising conglomerate, as Producer/National Director - Content, where he was responsible for producing branded content and delivering transmedia campaigns for brands like Pepsico, Unilever, Kelloggs, Lufthansa, LG and many more. He also runs a startup that develops smartphone applications for entertainment shows and series. He is a film graduate and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, son and when he is not working, he loves traveling to a new city on exploration.
Kalpana has over 15 years of experience in communication and public relations. 2002 onwards, she has spend most of her career path in the voluntary sector. First as Head of the Communication Resource Mobilisation Team with Oxfam India from 2001 to 2005 and in the following years has held several consulting assignments and conducted social audits for various NGO assignments across India, audits primarily in the North East [Assam] for Ants and Partners.
She also held training sessions to help NGOs set up systems in Communication and Resource Mobilization using her expertise in capturing corporate CSR. Pranav is an Associate Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters in Commerce degree from Sydenham College and is currently a CFA level III candidate. Pranav is also a partner at M/s Jhaveri & Shah, Chartered Accountants and is responsible for developing and executing the Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Valuation assignments. With a wide variety of financial management experience, Pranav has worked with Kotak Investment Banking in the Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) and the Capital Markets Group where he helped companies raise money by way of IPO's and Private Placements with Private Equity Investors.
